The Ultimate Psychic-Cop Comedy is Here!
Get ready for some supernatural laughs! The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Super Psychic Patrol Officer Chojo (Choujun! Choujou Senpai) has officially released its first wave of preview images and story synopsis for Episode 1, titled “The Psychic Patrol Officer,” scheduled to premiere on October 6.
Based on the popular manga by Shun Numa, which was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2024 to June 2025, this sci-fi comedy brings a refreshing and hilarious spin to the buddy-cop genre.
Episode 1 Synopsis & First Look
The story kicks off with Nao Iponki, a rookie police officer who finds herself reassigned to a run-down neighborhood police box. It is there that she is partnered up with Meguru Chojo, a local patrol officer who possesses immense psychic powers—but is also widely disliked by the community. Can this highly dysfunctional duo actually keep the peace in Chinjuku’s Kabaki-cho district?
The newly released preview cuts offer a glimpse of the dynamic between the main duo, highlighting Chojo’s nonchalant use of psychic abilities and Nao’s energetic, martial-arts-infused reactions.
