Get Ready for a Unique Fantasy Revenge Story This Fall!
The upcoming Fall 2026 anime, The Magic Power I Lent Out Is Forcefully Collected via Revolving Payment (Kashita Maryoku wa [Revolving Payment] de Kyousei Choushuu), is gearing up for its highly anticipated premiere on October 3, 2026. Ahead of the broadcast, the official staff has released the synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 1, titled “Banished” (Tsuihou).
Based on the popular light novel by Masakichi and manga adaptation by Shingo Iijima, which has surpassed 2 million copies in circulation, this series puts a unique financial twist on the classic “banished from the hero’s party” trope. The animation production is handled by the renowned studio SynergySP.
Episode 1: “Banished” Synopsis
The story takes place in a world where one’s life is heavily dictated by a “Gift” granted by the Creator God. Rent, a kind-hearted boy living in a remote village, receives an extremely rare S-rank support Gift called “Magic Storage” (Makura), which allows him to lend his own magic power to his allies.
Hoping to support his friends, Rent forms the party “Sword of the Severed Sky” along with his childhood friends Guy and Misa, and the healer El. However, because Rent himself remains physically weak, he is gradually looked down upon as dead weight. In a cruel twist of fate, he is mercilessly banished from the party.
Left with nothing and spiraling into despair, a strange phenomenon occurs within Rent’s Gift. Fueled by intense anger and a desire for revenge, his Gift evolves, unlocking its true potential: the ability to forcefully collect the massive amount of magic power he has been lending out over the years—with revolving interest!
