Love is in the Air, but Death is on the Stage!
Get ready, Detective Conan (also known as Case Closed) fans! As the legendary anime celebrates its monumental 30th anniversary year in 2026, the series is diving into one of the most highly anticipated adaptations from Volume 106 of the original manga. The upcoming Episode 1215, titled “The Crimson Finale (Part 1)” (Akane-iro no Chiakuraku), promises a deadly mix of high-stakes romance and eerie theatrical horror.
The Perfect Confession, Interrupted
For years, fans have been eagerly waiting for Heiji Hattori to finally confess his feelings to his childhood friend, Kazuha Toyama. This time, Heiji is determined to make it happen at the breathtaking Naniwa Harukas skyscraper. However, as seasoned fans know all too well, romance and murder cases always seem to go hand in hand!
Before Heiji can make his move, a tragic and bizarre incident strikes at the Naniwa Arts Theater:
- A Shocking Fall: An actor falls to their death at the theater.
- The Puppet Pose: The victim’s body is discovered in a highly unnatural, contorted pose, resembling a puppet with its strings cut.
- A Sinister Message: A creepy text found on the victim’s phone reads, “I am the Puppet Devil.”
Two Detectives vs. The Puppet Devil
Determined to solve the mystery and get back to his confession plans, Heiji teams up with Conan Edogawa to investigate the crime scene. But the “Puppet Devil” is not finished yet. In open mockery of the brilliant detectives, a second victim is soon found dead—also having fallen to their death and left in the same eerie puppet-like pose.
Will Conan and Heiji be able to stop this theatrical killer before the curtain falls on another victim? And more importantly, will Heiji ever get the chance to express his true feelings to Kazuha?
