What is Tougen Anki?
Written and illustrated by Yura Urushibara, Tougen Anki has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion since 2020. The dark fantasy series puts a modern, stylish spin on the classic Japanese folktale of Momotaro, depicting a fierce, generational battle between the descendants of the Oni (demons) and the descendants of Momotaro. With over 3 million copies of the manga in circulation, the series has gathered a passionate fanbase eagerly anticipating its anime adaptation.
In the upcoming anime, Kazuki Ura voices the main protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, while Nobuhiko Okamoto plays the fan-favorite character Hagure Nekosaki.
